Welcome Class of 2028 - What Makes Cass Magnet So Great?
Cass Magnet Program is much more than learning another language and fine arts school, its a program that is always expanding to the ever evolving world stage to meet the demands of current and future job market and to give our students a leading edge for college and beyond. Here at Cass, our administration constantly evaluates what professionals are looking for through job evaluations while working with colleges in making sure that the Magnet Program not only meets college requirements but to also push the students to exceed them to help them stand out through the selection process. International Business CTAE pathway and Sports and Entertainment CTAE pathway are two examples recently being added to the program that your student can specialize in and can help better prepare them for as a future career and soon students could also select National Security and Central Intelligence once program requirements are approved. Colleges seeing a student making an early commitment such as a Magnet Program often rank those students higher in meeting the entry requirements because of the students commitment in completing the program along with hard work in dedication in grades and other achievements that the program has to offer!
What Makes Cass Stand Out Even More?
Largest Video & Teleconferencing screen in any school in the state!
Cass High School is the only school in Georgia to utilize such a large multipurpose screen for not only educational purposes but to also connect anywhere in the world to allow students real time interaction with teachers and students from other countries! This video example demonstrates how Mrs. Long and her Chinese students enjoyed communicating with Principle Wu in a Malaysian School and even getting Principle Revard in on the action! The possibilities are endless with this tecnology and will allow students to get a much more world wide experiance verses what any textbook or standard educational program can offer!
Why Learn a Different Language at Cass?
Learning another language is an accomplishment of which you can–and should–be proud! Not only will it help you to develop intellectually and emotionally, but it will make you a better communicator, empower you to reach your goals, and boost your self esteem.
There are many benefits in learning another language as illustrated in the informational brochure attached. In the Cass Magnet Program you will learn more than just another language, you’ll learn about a different culture, have the opportunity to travel abroad, a chance to work with an international company locally to see how business is conducted internationally or even the chance to be a foreign exchange student! The Cass Magnet program has many opportunities to experience and expand your knowledge and much MORE!
